The global market leader in extrusion technology is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to head up the sales team of ten.  The company is strong and well established on developing, designing, manufacturing, and distributing high quality, innovative extruders  and extrusion equipment for plastic processing.

Essential duties:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plan, marketing strategy, and development program for all Sales Representatives resulting in the realization of corporate goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the daily activity of all sales team members including equipment sales, spare parts, and customer service.
  • Participate in Board meetings and represent company at trade association conferences.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Sales Representatives.
  • Meet with key clients to maintain relationships and to negotiate and close deals.
  • Expand client base through the delivery of sales presentations to new clients in coordination with Sales Representatives.
  • Meet with new clients to expand client base and assist with the negotiation and closing of orders.
  • Develop and implement plans promoting client base expansion.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
 
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Engineering or Marketing, with ten years’ of previous Director Experience in capital equipment sales.
