The Project Scheduler is responsible for providing effective scheduling of projects through all phases of project execution. The Project Scheduler is the main conduit of internal project information to the Project Manager. The position is responsible for coordinating with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and other groups to establish commitment dates and to track progress during project execution. The Project Scheduler will also provide support to Sales with preliminary schedules for proposals.
Essential Functions
- Create and update project schedules that affect current manufacturing and engineering lead times for HRSGs and related equipment
- Monitor project progress within the project team, including engineering, procurement, QA/QC, document control, etc.
- Identify critical path items and promote recovery plans as needed
- Communicate project status and risks to the Project Manager
- Help to establish product schedule templates to promote efficient, consistent project kickoff
- Assist the sales effort by providing schedules for high-probability proposals as required
