Our forward-thinking Fortune 500 'luxury brand' financial service and credit card company is in need of a dynamic freelance Content Writer & Editor for software development products to join their team. This team provides Enterprise Software Training Material for other teams to use within the organization. This role is onsite, 40 hours a week, 1 year with the opportunity to extend/convert, 5 paid sick days, healthcare benefits,
401k provided, more.

What You Will Do:
  • Reporting into the Director of Design Language System (DLS) and Digital Content & Strategy within the Enterprise Digital & Analytics Team, you will liaise with multiple (12) Content Teams across the organization to create and edit training materials, how-to guides, product overviews, etc. for multiple software platforms
  • Review copy, align verbiage for consistency across multiple bodies of content
  • Provide content strategy recommendation on structure, information architecture and tone of voice
  • Work with the Software Development Team to revise and 'mark-up' content/copy when making copy changes
  • You will also work the group's Websites that contain all content as you will be updating documentation and product sites

What You Need:
  • 5+ years of experience, BA/BS degree (plus)
  • Financial Experience or Corporate experience, e.g. pharma, insurance, etc.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand how large software development works and be able to explain complex software
  • Strong communication skills, able to multi-task and prioritize
  • A self-starter who is strong from all aspects of copy and content - not just a copy editor but someone who can tackle and can make recommendations on structuring and content strategy
  • A portfolio of strong copy writing samples and during the interview, be able to tell a story about your content and strategy.
