Very successful  automotive group has opening for driven leader to oversee sales for  its group of  Buy Here Pay Here dealerships. This is a great opportunity to join a company  that is stable, growing and offers a professional work environment. We are seeking a leader who can “raise the bar” profitability, customer satisfaction and development of Sales  Managers .
  
If you want to be treated like a professional, be well compensated and lead a group of successful stores– this may be the position you have been seeking.  Don’t have Buy Here Pay Here experience, that is ok, our client has a 30 year proven system, a President and chief operations personnel who will teach you the industry.  Bring your desire to learn a new part of the automotive industry and your proven ability to lead and develop  Sales Managers. 
 
This will be a very unique opportunity to  join the leader in its state in used car sales  and take their sales to the next level .  Being a well-established  smaller company, the Director of Sales   will be a very unique individual  - both a strategic thinker and very hands-on.   Must be comfortable at the retail stores  as well as making presentations to independent Board of Directors.
 
As the Director of Sales , your  focus will be leading a team of seasoned BHPH store managers and helping make them better and more effective leaders  so each can improve their dealership! Our client is already the leading used car dealership group in the state so you will have a terrific asset to develop!
 
To help ensure a great fit for both the candidate and company, we are seeking candidates with the following experience/skills/abilities.
 
  • experience successfully leading Sales Managers
  • desire to learn an new aspect of the automotive industry
  • automotive experience such as: retail dealerships, BHPH, automotive finance, auto  auction, advertising, dealership technology or software
  • proven ability to drive sales and “raise the bar”
  • multiple location or regional management experience
  • ability to lead, mentor and coach staff – “build managers into leaders”
  • integrity
  • absolute commitment to professionalism
  • focus on customer satisfaction and ability to prove your results
  • ability to relocate to Indianapolis
