Job Title: Driving Coordinator
Work Hours: 8 hour shifts
Primary Job Function:
Maintain the daily transportation schedules and dispatch drivers as needed. Responsible for updating administration on missed appointments and transportation incident reports. Regularly communicates with administration staff, apartment staff, drivers, site supervisors and participants. Directly reports to Site Supervisor of Operations.

Directly reports to Site Supervisor (Transportation Coordinator)

Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Organization skills
  • Geographical knowledge of service area or
  • Map reading skills
  • Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required
Daily Duties:
  • Assign Optimum Performance Institute vehicles to other drivers
  • Adjust schedule accordingly (call outs, schedule changes, etc.)
  • Communicate with drivers regularly
  • Communicate with administrative staff and residential staff regarding appointment changes 
  • Be available for phone calls at all times
  • Take all incoming calls
  • Schedule and coordinate all transportation calls as calls are received
  • Respond to transportation emails in a timely fashion
  • Send out transportation emails in a timely fashion
  • Distribute office envelopes to participants for outside appointments 
  • Assign staff/driver to pick up prescription scripts form office and deliver to pharmacy
  • Assign staff/driver to pick up medications from pharmacy and drop off at apartments
  • Provide feedback to Site Supervisor about Drivers' performances 
  • Maintain clean workplace 
  • Assist with distributing supplies
  • Print out Participant schedules daily
  • Ensure all apartments have goal sheets 
  • Assist with room searches
  • Hold on to packed medications as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a Site Supervisor or Residential Director, i.e. assist in monitoring apartments, assist in moving participants to another apartment, etc.
  • Attend all workshops, in-services, and meetings
  • Secure TB, First Aid and CPR certification in a timely manner
