Outstanding career opportunity located at Corporate Office setting in very desirable and historic Tennessee location. Selected candidate will be directly responsible for managing a global freight spend of approximately $3 million annually. This position will be cross functionally integrated with manufacturing locations and planning, as well as, warehousing and shipping/receiving in support of the Company's global distribution network. Position reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain and Customer Planning.
Selected candidate will be responsible for the following: (1.) Global freight experience to include importing/exporting and inter-country movements in USA, Canada, Europe and China.; (2.) Achieving freight savings through contract negotiations. (3.) Interface with packaging suppliers to optimize freight; (4.) Experienced in import/export compliance; (5.) Warehousing and Shipping experience is required.
