Our client is a leader in its industry and has had amazing growth both organically and by acquisitions in the past four years. Our client's growth continues as our client has recently broken ground for a greenfield site in northwest OH. Reporting to the VP of Administration, this is a newly created position that will have one direct report.  You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing all facets of human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices for 210 employees in four current locations. 

  • Monitor employee compensation by developing wage survey report to assist management with hiring employees, employee retention, employee pay and recognition, employee benefits, budget planning, market pricing jobs and salary range decisions.
  • Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommend benefit programs to management; direct the processing of benefit claims; design and conduct educational programs on benefit programs.
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Provide guidance to supervisory personnel and counseling to employees in order to resolve disputes and employee concerns in the most fair and equitable fashion.
  • Evaluate human relations and work related problems and meet with leaders to determine effective resolutions, such as additional training, communication improvements, or disciplinary action.
  • Recruit, interview, test, and assist in the selection of candidates to fill vacant salaried position.
  • Develop and implement orientation and training programs.
  • Develop reports for executive management.
  • Assist in policy development and documentation.
  • Assist in arranging employee functions.
  • Responsible for 401K administration and processing.
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues..
  • Involved in development of MMS HR Information System and time clock system.
  • Oversee the coordination of risk management and compliance to regulatory concerns with the Safety Coordinator

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • A.S. or B.S. degree a plus 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Manager
  • Multi-site experience strongly preferred
  • Strong generalist experience in all facets of Human Resources
  • Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to all employees.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must maintain impeccable attention to detail.
