The ideal candidate has a broad knowledge of the pavement maintenance industry and related products and services; has a thorough understanding of basic inside sales techniques; demonstrates the ability to consistently meet customer expectations; and has a growing knowledge of competitive products and services; is organized and able to do multiple tasks at one time and prioritize activities.

-Analyze customers’ needs and formulate solutions using all resources made available by company.
-Be sensitive to the current individual needs of customers and prospects, and help them attain their goal through the proper utilization of the company’s products and services.
-Assist and present to prospective customers how to adapt Company product lines to their own requirements and specifications.
-Offer service and look for ways to help the customer do a better job.
-Understand and administer customer service, in accordance with company policy, in a mutually beneficial manner, to ensure lasting goodwill between the customer and the company.
-Provide information to customers on new and current products, pricing, and general order status.
-Seek new uses and applications for company products with present and prospective customers.
-Cooperate and communicate with all personnel in the customer’s organization in the execution of programs and policies.
-Assume the obligations of good citizenship and participate in worthwhile community activities as a public relations asset to the company.
-Comply with all Company policies, instructions, and directives for the fulfillment of company objectives and for maximizing profitable sales.
-Operate in a safe manner in accordance with company policy.
-Maintain up-to-date customer and territory records.
-Maintain a presentable and tidy showroom appearance of Company product lines.
-Ability to develop best practices in customer service, inventory management, and sales process.
-Promote as an inside sales professional value added deliverables to Company markets.
-Possess integrity in business operation-such as bank deposits, petty cash, etc.
-Required to learn and be able to utilize our customer Dynamics point of sales and internal reporting system.
-Cooperate and assist fellow territory representatives, managers, marketing personnel, territory associates, operations, safety & environmental, corporate, and other company personnel.
-Enthusiastically participate in company productivity and training programs.
-Recommend new products and the modification or deletion of present products to the line; assume leadership role in introduction of new products.
-Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
-Demonstrate ability to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations by maintaining and developing working relationship.
-Possess good problem solving skills and the ability to discuss business issues and propose appropriate PMSI solutions.
-Maintain up to date records from a technical and commercial perspective.
1-3 years in the Pavement Maintenance industry or related industry role and retail sales experience is preferred.
-MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM knowledge required.
-Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise.
-Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
-Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.
