THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
Takes a lead role working with maintenance teams.
Supporting production by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all production equipment
Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment, following a preventive maintenance schedule ensuring all machinery is in good, safe working order.
Able to read blue prints, schematic drawings and diagrams to properly and safely install machinery.
Assemble and test machines to verify safe working order and functionality
Support the overall facility maintenance including but not limited to: plumbing, snow removal, event preparations, basic construction, painting, etc.
Good knowledge and experience with manufacturing equipment installation and maintenance.
Desire to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently, utilizing good work practices, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including: Periodic training of proper machine operation and maintenance, assistance with creating SOP and other related documentation and cross-training into other job functions as needed.
Also, must attend routine departmental, production, safety and Company meetings.
High School Diploma or GED required
Advanced degree, apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent years of experience
5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a similar working environment; operating hand and power tools, precision measuring or testing devices, (
tape measure, calipers, metric and standard)
5 years of experience and knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and machine shop tools and equipment, to perform preventative maintenance, major repairs, complex machine setups and installations of parts.
Electrical skills: change fuses, check voltages, replace, install variable frequency drives and motor controls 120/240/480
Valid PA driver’s license with ability to drive 24,900 lb. box truck or flat bed with manual or automatic transmission.
