International Health Care company is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for maintaining and controlling the safe and efficient function of the plant manufacturing equipment; to manage preventative maintenance systems, schedules, safety, quality, and productivity within the department .You will ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP's in a Medical Device Manufacturing facility.  This is a 2nd shift position with the hours of 2:30 pm - 11:30 pm.

  • Responsible for supervision and direction of maintenance activities for the 2nd Shift operation.    
  • Efficiently coordinate the workflow and documentation of PMs and WOs.   
  • Monitor and report equipment performance and efficiency data and identify any possible trending.
  • Using data analysis, troubleshoot and determine root cause of equipment failures and develop solutions to prevent future failures.     
  • Supervise the maintenance and modification of new and existing manufacturing equipment.
  • Manage spare parts control systems to assure preventive maintenance and operation continuity. 
  • Supervise the installation, start-up and transfer to operations new equipment to meet quality and validation requirements.
  • Assist in the installation and operational qualifications as required.    
  • Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.   
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.   
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure the smooth transition of projects.   
  • Manage employees and team performance; provide new employee orientation.
  • Provide adequate training for employees including annual EHS training. 
  • Coach, counsel and motivate and evaluate employees.
  • Investigate complaints or performance concerns; implement disciplinary action as needed and in consultation with Human Resources.   
  • 3-5 years of experience in Medical Device/Medical Products, Pharmaceutical, Food or Chemical Process Industry is desired.   
  • Have 1-2 years of experience in reliability centered maintenance programs   
  • Four year college degree in related field is desireable
  • Be familiar with Lean Manufacturing, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and Six Sigma concepts 
  • Understand the design, installation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment that support a complex manufacturing plant.   
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, using blue prints, equipment manuals & specifications,
  • Ability to use proper judgment when taking corrective actions during equipment malfunction.    
  • Have working knowledge of hazardous chemicals and their disposal, OSHA, EPA, and FDA requirements.    
  • Must have very strong verbal and written communication skills, documentation practices (cGDPs)
  • Be self-motivated and possess strong interpersonal skills.    
  • Must be able to update procedures and modify processes to simply their complexity and improve efficiencies.   
  • Must have integrity, trust, work ethic, sound judgment, intellectual honesty, pragmatism, courage and conviction.   
  • Must have uncompromising dedication to quality.   
  • Must be able to present project overviews and other departmental presentations without assistance.   

  • $79,000 - $94,000 Annual Salary (depending on experience)
