As a Senior Product Manager this position is responsible for analysis, development and delivery of new and enhancement of existing products and services to the enterprise and licensed territories. On behalf of the company, ensures corporate compliance with state departmental insurance regulations, records, rules, and business filings. Will perform research, which includes legal and regulatory compliance review; risk evaluation and exposure; profit analysis; technical underwriting requirements and competencies along with product compatibility with existing underwriting strategy. Develops internal controls and systems technology for product enhancements and for the introduction of new and revised products and services.
In addition, develops and revises forms, and implements rates, rules, underwriting guidelines and marketing materials for new and existing lines of business. Will also be called upon to perform training for agents and staff, program underwriting reviews and perform underwriting along with other related duties as required or assigned.
Will work directly with Actuarial, Claims, Compliance, Business Line Directors, Field Operations and the Systems and Technology organization to ensure the accurate delivery of the product or service to the marketplace; and it serves a critical role in the coordination and communication of all technical requirements for business applications.
Ideal candidate will have appropriate educational background, any insurance coursework is a plus and a minimum of five years of successful background as a Product Manager. Need two C/L PRODUCT MANAGERS who are experienced with BOP/Commercial Package/Property. Need one PRODUCT MANAGER with solid experience in the AG Specialty. You must be technology savvy including the use of such tools as Excel and more. Relocation package provided.
