Position Overview:

This Team is looking for entrepreneurially-minded individuals with a mix of business and program management backgrounds to optimize and scale up The Company's Phone business. You will help manage the lifecycle of Their phone launch by planning and managing work-streams for The Company's premium smartphonel. In so doing, you will help manage and shape some of Their boldest ventures. With Your program management expertise, You will identify key timelines and stakeholders and keep everyone on track for a successful launch. You will be responsible for the coordination of new product and program launch requirements, and identify, develop, define, and document all milestones and deliverables within The Program. You see the big picture while effectively managing detail, get excited by both the planning and execution aspects of business, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role requires you to work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, marketing, finance, sales, and supply chain (and many other teams within The Company) to develop our Phone business within the region.

  • Lead or assist in core initiatives involving global phone launches and program sustainability, including things such as deep dives on the reverse logistics flow, customer service flow, non-commercial unit analysis and due diligence on functional launch readiness Identify interdependencies and pro-actively problem solve with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Pro-actively think ahead to identify risks/potential blockages/opportunities
  • Drive the development of a plan of record (POR) for activities that affect multiple cross-functional stakeholder groups
  • Prepare launch go/no go checklists and create contingency plans
  • Lead program and act as the main liaison between the program and the global team
  • Assist in brokering deals with key program-based partners and executing contracts
  • Lead in xfn efforts to bring a number of key program-specific partners to the program
  • Assist in the program management of global phone launches, coordinating across product, GTM, partnerships, marketing, forward, reverse, and operations activities
  • Coordination with global/local and cross-functional program managers (sales, marketing, supply chain) achieving global synthesis for the product operations team
  • Evaluate methods across geographies and publish accepted methods and best practices in order to build global process and product consistency
  • Prepare and distribute various reports and updates on the status of the project to various audiences, including executive management, functional management, etc.
  • Localize Product Pitch Decks as required
  • Assist in managing local pre-launch demo and display units

  • Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: new product integration, product planning and execution in a high-tech, CE industry
  • 2+ years project management experience
  • Experience with operational processes and systems BA/BS, preferably in business and/or related fields
