As a Sales Engineer with Mimecast, you will have a direct opportunity to continually shape both our business and that of our customers, by providing world class solutions around e-mail and security management to the SME market.
You as a Mimecast Sales Engineer...
We are looking for exceptional people with strong foundations around customer facing experience and working with customers on either a presales or post-sales basis
You should have a passion for conveying value proposition in an open and consultative manner, while working closely with teams from sales, marketing, professional services and engineering as well as key stakeholders.
Moving forward you will have the ability to greatly expand your role at Mimecast, moving into larger accounts and taking on more responsibility through seniority.
In exchange, you will be working with real evangelists in the field of cloud security and archiving with wealth of training and development on offer to help you succeed.

The ability to present technical concepts in a confident engaging manner
A passion for delivering world-class solutions to customers
Outstanding commercial insight
Highly developed presentation skills from large events, expos and technology forums
Experience working with the SME market
Knowledge of managing a sales process within customer and partner facing engagements
Cloud/SaaS/IaaS/PaaS hands-on experience with a best-in-class platform
Good technical knowledge and working experience of either Exchange, Office365, Lotus Notes or similar
Data archiving/storage/backup/recovery knowledge
A track record of developing technical sales opportunities through to implementation
A proven record of taking ownership of real customer issues and resolving them under pressure
A solid understanding of leveraging key stakeholders to drive relations
