Our client is a world leader in laboratory equipment and services, and has an opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative for its industry leading Process Instrumentation used in the food and beverage industries. This position will be covering IL, IN, MI, WI, IA, MO, MN, KS, NE. SD and ND and the successful candidate can be based anywhere in IL, IN or southern WI.
Responsibilities:
  • The Sales Representative will be responsible for direct sales of the client’s Process Instrumentation into various industries like food & beverage, oil & gas, chemical and pharmaceutical throughout the territory.
  • Primary responsibilities include both the effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Sales experience into the Food & Beverage industry strongly preferred but not required.
  • B.S. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or similar technical field.  
  • Overnight travel approximately 60%
