Member of the Human Resources team responsible for the execution of proactive recruitment strategies in order to attract key talent in line with corporate objectives. Will develop strong partnerships with internal and external customers, and build pipelines of qualified candidates to meet both existing and forecasted talent needs. Demonstrates and maintains a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, while continuously building strong recruiting networks and developing innovative and creative methods and techniques to source talent and promote the Spark brand. Manage resources to ensure excellent client and candidate experience. This individual needs to be comfortable making clear decisions which may involve creativity and taking initiative


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for effectively and efficiently recruiting for and managing all allocated assigned requisitions
  • Responsible for participating in recruitment and interviewing strategies that provide an excellent candidate experience
  • Through proactive direct sourcing, advertising, networking and referrals, builds an external network of selected and targeted prospective candidates and industry candidates.
  • Establish search strategies, manage kick-off meetings, screening, interviewing, de-brief meetings and the development /negotiations of offers
  • Required to not only fulfill the day-to-day duties of recruitment full life cycle delivery, but will also proactively participate in process improvement efforts, special recruitment projects, and broader HR Operations initiatives.
  • Identifies and builds relationships with key retained and contingency search firms, as well as relevant professional industry groups and associations
  • Effectively challenges hiring managers and business leaders to ensure hiring activities have the necessary level of priority and to select a candidate considering the appropriate mix of capabilities, technical skills, “fit” and long term potential.
  • Develops and maintains effective partnerships internally with the leadership team within their group. In addition with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Compensation Specialists, and other members of the HR and Business community.
  • Assures that job descriptions are updated and current, reflecting essential functions and requirements of each position being recruited.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to track applicants through the selection phase through on-boarding.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Leader to ensure recruitment processes are consistent, reliable, scalable and provide a consistent experience across client functions
  • Work on additional projects as part of the long term strategy of building a best in class talent acquisition organization

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to directly source talent at all levels adopting creative strategic methods
  • Significant experience developing and implementing comprehensive recruitment sourcing strategies; identifying and leveraging external search firms; institutions and professional organizations; and developing personal recruitment networks
  • Ability to bring forward an active external network of prospective industry related contacts to support the business strategy
  • Understanding and skill in the use of broad range of recruitment tools and services including Web-based services; candidate search databases and applicant tracking systems, contingent and retained search consultants;
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to manage, influence and challenge all levels of internal clients
  • Working knowledge of immigration issues; compensation design/trends; as well as, competency in understanding legal matters related to conflicts of interest in the screening/selection/hiring process
  • Broad understanding of HR practices and related regional Employment laws and regulations
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally and nationally to support recruitment activities and recruitment programs
  • Excellent Communication skills, verbal and written

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related degree
  • 8+ years of progressive recruiting experience including recruiting senior-level candidates ( i.e., Director Level and above).
  • Pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience
