CareerMarketplace is a network of vertically integrated employment centers focused on Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing/Sales, and General Business. Our profession-specific sites are designed to focus both job seekers and employers to unique sites based on a job function or discipline. This model effectively connects job seekers directly with employers while shortening the job seeker's employment search and lowering the employer's cost per hire.

Our unique model allows job seekers to find and apply for jobs with leading companies from around the United States and abroad from one central location, or by visiting any one of our more than 45 unique sites. Employers are able to advertise on profession-specific sites and on the CareerMarketplace site to leverage the focused advertising to find qualified candidates for employment.

History
CareerMarketplace.com was founded in 1996 by Internet employment entrepreneur Richard Posey. Mr. Posey operated the network of profession-specific Web sites and offered a variety of services. In 2001 the sites were updated and began being powered by Occupation Station, a leading employment center management software. Then, in 2004 the sites were acquired by CareerMarketplace, Inc..
