USAA is currently seeking a talented Facilities Engineer II for our San Antonio, Texas location.
As a Facilities Engineer II for USAA, you will Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for one of the following disciplines/systems: structural, mechanical, electrical, or control systems. You will be knowledgeable in design and operation of building systems specification writing, and project management. You will have technical familiarity with facility related initiatives for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or structural issues. You will work with project and facility managers of various disciplines to provide technical expertise.
Qualified candidates need to possess:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, structural or civil engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a facility engineering or project management role or equivalent education.
- Ability to climb a ladder and walk a construction site.
Preferred experience includes:
- A BSEE or BSET with working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC and other applicable codes.
- Successful completion of fundamentals examination and working towards a Professional Engineering license.
- AutoCAD experience.
Higher level of qualification may warrant higher level of position.
