USAA is currently seeking a talented Facility Data Center Technician for our San Antonio, Texas location.
As a Facility Data Center Technician for USAA, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and troubleshooting of systems in the data center environment. You will perform cable design and installation for routine operational projects. You will perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance in a critical data center environment.
Qualified candidates need to possess:
- Minimum practical work experience in one of the following areas: 3 years of experience in electrical or electronic systems maintenance and repair, 3 of years experience in HVAC or mechanical systems maintenance and repair, 3 years of experience in cable design or installation, 3 years of experience in electronics equipment maintenance and repair, or 3 years of experience in repair or maintenance of facilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to climb ladders and perform heavy lifting.
- Ability to work non-standard work hours.
Preferred experience includes:
- Extensive HVAC knowledge and know-how.
- Communication cabling installation knowledge and know-how.
- Electrical distribution switching, installation and maintenance knowledge and know-how.
