We are looking for a Pharmacist. Must have Bachelors or Pharm D. Degree, Registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas. This position is DAYS rotating EVENINGS.

Hospital experience required; critical care experience preferred. Staff Pharmacist provides criteria for evaluation of the Registered Pharmacist working in the Staff Pharmacist position. The Registered Pharmacist cares for patients in the age ranges as listed: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for directing, coordinating the timely filling and delivering of drugs and IV solutions in the Pharmacy. 2. Responsible for filling/checking new medication orders and mixing/checking IV Admixture according to hospital and regulatory standards. 3. Participates in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care.
4. Responsible for checking, dispensing, and documenting issuance of Control Drugs according to applicable laws and Narc station policies and procedures. 5. Adheres to and complies with Code of Conduct as part of our Ethics and Compliance program. Attends annual training session.
6. Make clinical rounds on ICU/CCU patients according to JCAHO standards.
7. Initiates and monitors clinical initiatives (i.e., IV to PO, renal dosing, etc.).
