We are seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Laboratory. Must have Bachelor's degree and be ASCP certified with 3+ to 5 years experience as a Lab Director in hospital setting.

You will be accountable for all aspects of development, management, and financial success of Laboratory Services. Develops and articulates mission and vision, develops financial and budget targets, and quality measures. Is responsible for ongoing interface and frequent communication with patients, customers, employees and management to ensure customer/patient satisfaction. Effectively manage change, facilitate innovation and foster teambuilding to provide the highest quality and most cost effective laboratory product possible. Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations and accrediting bodies such as CMS, JCAHO, and College of American Pathology (CAP).

Requirements:
Laboratory Director with 3-5 years experience in a hospital setting. Able to demonstrate team building, systems thinking, complex problem solving, negotiating and influencing, change and conflict management, data analysis, coaching and mentoring, strategic planning, business strategy development. Advanced computer skills are necessary. Assumes, under the direction of the Laboratory Medical Director, responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement and equipment maintenance. Ensures the availability of competent staff to conduct the services of the department. Provides for the ongoing education of staff. Able to effectively fulfill responsibilities of directing and managing a 24/7 department. Possesses strong communication skills.
