We are in search of a Director of Cardiovascular StepDown. You must be a Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Masters degree required. Either Bachelors or Masters degree must be in Nursing. Must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia, five years of experience which includes three years of clinical nursing and 2 years of nursing leadership.

You will directs all aspects of management and ensures the provision of optimum patient care for a nursing unit; provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, strategies, and services for the unit.

CVSU has a staff of physicians, nurses, patient care assistants, health unit coordinators and cardiac monitor readers who work together to provide quality care. All of the nurses are Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified and have over 700 years of combined nursing experience. In addition, there are exercise specialists who perform all the cardiac rehab and education before discharge. There are social workers and a case managers for a smooth transition from admission to discharge.
