We are involved with a search for an outstanding facility for a CNO.

Reporting directly to CEO, selected individual will be responsible for:

Managing nursing department to maintain quality standards of care, and advising medical staff, department heads, and administrator in matters related to nursing service.
Interpreting nursing philosophy and establishes departmental goals and objectives.
Instituting organizational structure and communications systems which include all levels of nursing staff, pharmacy, lab services, infection control, psychology/psychotherapy, and clinical dietitians, to promote effective care delivery.
Demonstrating a proven track record of solid financial management as well as creating a team-based atmosphere resulting in positive employee retention.
Demonstrating a thorough knowledge of Joint Commission and state licensure regulations.

Qualifications
A minimum of five years experience in nursing administration and/or dedicated leadership experience.
Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed in the state of Virginia. Masters degree preferred.
