Our Fotrune 500 client, well known as a terrific place to work, is seeking an experienced financial professional WITH FINANCIAL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE to direct and manage statutory, GAAP, and SEC accounting and reporting for all of their reporting companies.

Responsibilities include: Directing and managing statutory, GAAP accounting and SEC accounting and reportiing for all reporting companies . Also responsible for investment accounting and reporting for statutory, GAAP and income tax purposes; and cost administration and analysis. This person will manage and direct the overall activities of the department including ensuring the quality of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting outputs. He or she will also direct and manage the financial reporting staff including six direct reports while assisting the Controller in setting strategic direction for the Division.

Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in accounting or related
- 10 years FINANCIAL INDUSTRY experience in corporate finance and/or accounting, including extensive knowledge of SEC, FASB, GAAP and NAIC accounting and disclosure requirements, federal and state income and premium tax statutes and insurance regulations REQUIRED.
- Previous experience with automated accounting systems
- Proven management success and supervisory experience
- CPA strongly desired
