Position Description: Director Case Management: As a Director of Case Management you will be responsible to the activities of specifically assigned Nurse Case Managers serving clinical areas within an acute care hospital. This outstanding opportunity will afford numerous occasions to demonstrate skills in leadership and strategic development of programs in support of Case Management. Management toward achieving quality out comes, reducing costs and promoting the implementation of the highest standards of practice will be hallmarks of the position of Director of Case Management Services. Flexibility in responding to the needs of multiple constituencies with a service-oriented philosophy is absolutely required.

Requirements: Masters degree in Nursing or business is preferred as is managed care and CCM designation as well as experience within an acute care setting. Background in clinical nursing and at least two years of management experience in Case Management/Utilization Review. Demonstrated experience in responding to the needs of multiple departments, strong problem analysis, project management and oral/written presentation experience are also required. Common Sense, customer service, utilization management, knowledge of regulatory standards and reimbursement issues are necessary in order to be successful within this most important area of service.
