Infection Control Nurse/Employee Health Practitioner – Outstanding opportunity to assist in the development and implementation of infection control employee health programs for a small community hospital. As a pivot point in Infection Control, the incumbent will document communicable disease, analyze and develop reports for the Infection Control Committee and make recommendations for mitigation of IC issues as they arise. Position also includes responsibilities within Employee Health: managing the employee health services, organizing educational opportunities for employees, maintaining current information from the CDC, JCAHO regarding all aspects of employee health, oversight of workers' compensation claims, modified duty return to work program and review of policies and procedures for infection control. Excellent opportunity for flexibility and creativity.

Requirements: RN with at least two years of clinical experience in an acute care facility or in public health. Prefer BSN with APIC or CIC. Expectation will be that within two years of employment the incumbent will earn Certification by American Board of Occupational Health Nurses.
