Our Client is one of the largest privately held international utility contracting firms, with offices in 80 cities and celebrating 85 years of operating with a reputation as one of the most reliable and innovative firms in engineering and construction, is currently seeking a Sales Executive for Telephony Services to be based out of their Philadelphia area regional office.

The Sales Executive has direct responsibility to help grow Our Clients Networks Voice business. Qualified candidates will be highly experienced in generating new telephony sales in one or more of the following vertical markets: Regional Banking, Education, Local Government, and Legal.

Job Description:
• Working knowledge of Voice and IT networks.
• Work independently to uncover and close opportunities at high levels within the client organization by various means such as research, cold calling, building new relationships, leveraging existing relationships, follow-up of qualified and unqualified leads
• Identify key points of influence for each named account including new telephony and technology evaluators, implementers, influencers and purchasers
• Build strong, lasting relationships at appropriate levels of the client organization
• Define and develop strategic account plans for each named account
• Work with senior management to develop appropriate client oriented communications and presentations
• Generate incremental revenue in defined vertical markets
• Present project information and recommendations to management or clients
• Identify competitive threats at the account level and gather appropriate intelligence
• Attendance at industry related trade shows, seminars and conferences
• Relentless attitude and desire to win
• Strong business acumen in planning and organization

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent degree
• 5 years Telephony sales experience including VoIP
• Experience with building relationships and effectively sell to senior executives of targeted companies
• Strong working knowledge of key accounts in industry segments with high-level contacts desired
• Experience with identifying current industry trends
• Experience with applying advanced concepts clearly and concisely to communicate technology applications, features, benefits and value propositions
• Experience with cold-calling, prospecting, presentation, communication and writing skills
• Experience with working independently toward predetermined short and long-range targets
• Can demonstrate, through prior experience sales success in a relatively unstructured work environment
