JOB SUMMARY:

o Recognize, evaluate and control workplace environmental factors that may cause sickness, impaired health, or significant discomfort and inefficiency among employees throughout our company.

o Identify ways to increase the sustainability of the business through better EHS systems, manufacturing and R&D practices, and

o To enhance communication practices


This will be achieved through the implementation of EHS strategy calling for EHS systems implementation and management. Technical expertise in various sub-functions of the EHS arena is needed, as well as the ability to transfer this knowledge to direct and indirect reports.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have significant prior experience in the following: Writing and publishing newsletters. Experience in sustainability reporting. Website development, and Implementation of IT solutions.

Education BS/BA degree. An advanced degree (MS/MA) in environmental engineering/management, environmental health engineering/management, or safety engineering/management is preferred. Experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical or chemical industries or in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
