Our client has a small molded & machined products division in the Rochester / Buffalo, NY area which is in need of a Sr. Manufacturing / Process Engineer to drive all elastomer product line custom molding and manufacturing. This Engineer will analyze customer requirements, recommend best materials for application, prepare quotes, perform product CAD / SolidWorks design / prints, tooling and fixturing, documentation, process routing, perform project management and work collaboratively with Sales, Custom Engineering, Internal QA, shop floor personnel and other Sr. Manufacturing Engineers for machined products and vendors.

Goals and objectives of this position include:

* Initiate process improvements to improve yields and efficiency in all aspects of the molding department.
* Identify and document both short and long term goals for overall departmental improvements with specific target dates and milestones identified.
* Review, refine and refocus all manufacturing matters and begin programs to improve on-time delivery, reduce spoilage and enhance quality.

$55K to $75K + Bonus
